Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Spend a ton of money to build a "tribute" car.

Expensive ticket to the land of the vapid and vacuous.

How is it a clone, using a non numbers matching engine?

Stuff a Shelby 428 into a 6 cylinder mustang, add some badges, and stripes, and yes, you have a clone. This car however, with matching engine or not, will always be a documented Shelby prototype.

Yes, they will track the engine down with any luck. If the owner of the engine knows what the car will be worth when restored, he'll be able to ask a fortune for it.

I agree, it won't be worth millions without the number's matching drivetrain... but will still be a cool piece of history. If it is restored beautifully, it may be worth north of $100,000. BUT, with all the matching correct parts it could very well be worth 2 million+.

What if the original motor threw a rod and the engine was recycled?

The car just lost $1.9 million in potential value.
