At least you got to place an order. I'm signed up for e-mail notifications when they are in stock, and by the time I click on the link in the notification, they are sold out.

There is no shortage other than the one orchestrated by the government and supported, at least in part, by willing manufacturers.

I'm like Scrooge with the cache of .22lr in my home. Centerfire is available again and reasonably priced in some instances.

Neighbor in the shop next to mine told me they had Remington Thunderbolts in 500 rd. boxes at Dick's Sporting goods for $25. I hopped in the truck and went up there, and they still had some - limited to only 1 box per customer.

I wonder if they'll still have any by the time my wife comes to town, this afternoon?

You can get 1 per day. I was lucky, my wife got one this afternoon. I never thought be happy at finding .22 ammo for 5 cents/round.

I recall when Fiocchi .22lr CPRN was everywhere, and dirt cheap.......now? Not so much.
