Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Ammo is going crazy as we all know. But for some reason 7.62X39 is staying relatively stable and cheap.

I like AK's but what I don't like is America doesn't make cheap steel 7.62x39 ammo. The Russian stuff is going to be shutoff at some point and so is anything else coming out of Europe and then AK shooters like me will be screwed even if you have stacked it deep.

Have you tried that cheap low recoil Czech stuff?

No I don't think so Dry Heat on the Czech stuff. Hell with the AK when I pull the trigger when something comes out I am happy.
Yup that is why I posted the list with price your right I fear they will stop importing ammo for the AK I fear and I don't think were geared up in America to make it? I may be wrong?
But before the canoe accident and my joining the Brady Bunch I kept a few thousand rounds for each caliber at minimum.
Hell if war comes and you have to shoot a bad guy take his ammo then his wallet. Leave the family picts. for the poor guy.

I still have Norinco yellow box steel core 7.62x39 stashed away, best stuff ever imported was the Lapua 7.62x39 right after the China ammo ban.

Came in 30 round boxes. It was boxer primed and reloadable, the price locally was 21 bucks for 90 rounds and we thought that was high.... and yes I still have some of that stashed away.

Most accurate AK ammo I've ever shot.

Geez I never heard of Norinco yellow box bill. But I don't know why with all the AKs in America the price has not gone crazy like .45 acp and 9mm? But I grabbed another case anticipating it will.
5.45x39 is holding in their at around .25 cents a round.

I found a little bit of brass South African 7.62x39 for $9.99 a box of 25 that I am told is pretty good ammo. To bad the place didn't have that much of it.

I don't reload but try to pick 39 brass when I can.

For you 7.62x25 Tokarev pistol users:
If Tok ammo is hard to find, use 7.63 Mauser pistol ammo.
The powder charge is alot less per cartridge than 7.62x25 (as the older Mauser's had inferior metallurgy and couldn't handle anything stronger), so you get less recoil and less wear on your Tok. (And less chance of over-penetration). But it'll operate the mechanism just fine.

I've got a pile of 7.62x25 stashed away for my CZ52, a bit of corrosive but most of it is S&B or Prvi Partisan.

Got dies, bullets, powder and primers laid back for damn near every caliber I have.
