Keltec PMR 30 review
This was reviewed after the barrel twist rate was changed late September of 2011.
Although still not readily available due to the above noted recall. Fairly good review. http://www.majorpandemic.com/2011/11...ol-review.html

Good review.
I just wish these gun manufacturers would not marry themselves to those fiber optic sights. I detest them, ever since I've seen more than one get broken in the field. I have a .22 magnum itch, and besides a Henry lever action/octagon barreled rifle, the Keltec would help scratch that itch.

It was built down from the Camp Carbine where the other semiautos were built up from the 22 RF autoloaders. |

The fiber sights represent the first deal breaker for me, presemce of a magazine disconnect would be the second. Unless both conditions were easily rectified, I wouldn't need a third to decide OTT it appears to have promise as a usefull firearm. Regards, ... |

I wish that Kel Tec would actutally do something about making ther products obtainable. The PMR-30 is still nowhere in sight.Out of stock everywhere.Because of this I don't have much hope of ever acquiring the KSG shotgun either. They keep manufacturing newer designs and yet they cannot keep up with even half of the demand by consumers.Whatever comes off the production line is already spoken for.

Ruger, in past years did the same thing, they finally learned better marketing skills.
Keltec should do the same. Ruger now developes a new firearm, tests it, the produces large numbers before announcements are made. Anyone remember the 308 semi-auto based on the mini-14 called the XGI? |

Oh ya I remember the XGI. At the time it was in all the magazines, and I was saving money to get one. But it never went any where. And now if I had any money to save I'd more than likely be saving for this Kel-Tec. Some of us learn slower than others.
