DDB members in New Orleans and the SW. Update on tropical storm Nate.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...ca-3-dead.html
As of the present forecast it does not look good for New Orleans and possibly Houston AOs? "Possible" hurricane winds when and if it hits the U.S. mainland. But it is the damn rain coming with it to worry about. Check the vid. map on the link. It shows prevailing winds taking Nate right into Orleans and possibly Houston? Prayers for you guys last thing yall need is more rain hell we don't need anymore here in Florida either. ADD: Geez not to go Little the sky is falling but the weatherman just said the Gulf is at its warmest it reaches all year. Not good.

I'll be surprised if my daughter in Pensacola dodges this one, too.

My wife's aunt and uncle live in Mobile, AL. Her aunt called to tell us goodbye yesterday evening.
This won't be their first rodeo. We invited them here but they are going to hunker down there.

WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE !!!!
Or at least that's what the weather girls ant us to believe. Getting ready to sit around and watch our thunderstorm. Prepped yesterday, I picked up the lawn furniture, so it wouldn't blow into the neighbors yard.

Doesn't look like we'll get much of anything off of it.
All the storms are on the east side of the system. Was hoping to use it as an excuse to ship out some more of our feral population. |

Nothing bad expected in Houston.
Looks like N.O. is going to suffer the most along with MS & AL. Prayers and best wishes to all in Nate's path.

Hurricane Nate made its first landfall as a Category 1 hurricane near the mouth of the Mississippi River.
"Strong winds capable of tree damage and power outages will penetrate inland over the Southeast through Sunday." https://weather.com/storms/hurricane...coast-forecast GBob01 and all up that way prayers to yah be careful. Damn rain and storm surge is the real pain in the ass. Rain loosens the ground then the trees start flying power goes out and and..... ah hell I'm moving to Arizona. |

I talked to my daughter in Pensacola. She said they got more weather from Tropical Storm Cindy, when I was visiting, than they got from Nate. She slept through it.

The good thing is the storm was moving north at around 26 m.p.h... That is formula 1 moving for a storm. Bad new is their was recorded 115 m.p.h. wind gusts so I hope everyone made out o.k.. |
