Oldest son just scared us half to death lol

Almost 11pm and he runs into our room saying there’s a tornado warning.

Wake up youngest rush him and oldest to the basement.

We then realized there is no sirens.

Turns out it was for a different part of the county ( other side ) and he heard tornado warning on his radio and rushed to let us know.

Rather him wake us up for nothing than not wake us for something.

Now it’s try to get back to sleep. Gotta get up at 4

Remember fire drills in school?

One should probably have tornado and fire drills at home - if you live in tornado country.

Funny thing about where I live - there are no tornado sirens. Yet, tornadoes have touched down just 10 miles away. Go 30 miles north of me, and you'll see tornado sirens.

Guess we like surprises, no?
