First squash from the garden

Dunked in egg/milk wash, dredged in seasoned corn meal and fried to golden brown. Crispy salty on the outside, buttery on the inside. I could eat that whole plate. Actually, I just did.
Tomorrow I'll do a Japanese eggplant and a couple of green tomatoes the same way.

Darn that looks good!

I could eat myself sick on fried squash, eggplant, tomatoes, mushrooms, etc.

Haven't tried the flowers, 'Boon, but I've heard they're pretty tasty.

I've been trying to find the recipe they use at Carl's Jr. (in the West)/ Hardee's (in the East) for their fried zucchini.

The one recipe I found online was a failure. It didn't even come close to tasting the same.
