.22 ammo $39.99 for 500 bulk pack.
'Remington .22 Long Rifle 40gr RN High Velocity (500rd Bulk Pack) - TB22B"
http://palmettostatearmory.com/remin...0rd-brick.html O.K. deal not great but good to see it is available. Hell I grab it and put it in the ammo storage. Better than leaving the money in the bank at 0% interest.

In today's environment that is a good deal. Expect another gun on guns and ammo from Septembre through March.

The 22 "shortage" is manufactured BS. Either they aren't producing it in quantity or the Fed is paying them not to produce it. Either way, if production was normal there would be no empty shelves.
I'm not about to pay scam prices. NEVER,.

I think the shortage is about to end. Midway has Remington in stock, and the local Bass Pro had piles of CCI ($8.50) and Winchester ($9.30) in the 100 round boxes the other day.
I've been picking up my three boxes of CCI pretty regularly there. I even saw piles of 525 round boxes at a gun show a month or so back for $35 each, and it wasn't selling.

The only caliber i use for recreational shooting is 12 gauge birdshot......that seems like the only caliber that wasnt affected by the run on guns & Ammo.
I also have a few cap and ball revolvers that i might start shooting again to avoid having to pay scalpers prices to replace any C/F ammo i shoot.

I'm glad I stocked up on Federal 550 RND boxes from Wally World when it was like seven bucks a box.
