I've been using the same Foodsaver brand unit for around 25 years.
I use it at least every other week. I never tried the knock off bags though, probably wont. The continuous bags are the way to go, just cut to length and seal one end. For stuff that's a little wet just fold up a paper towel and keep it the width of the bag and shove it in side to side and an inch or two into the bag, it catches any liquids and stops it from messing up the seal. I believe some newer ones have some sort of wet food mode. |
