Shotgun Wedding.
My buddies daugheter and Tims new Win. Mod. 97 1909 dated serial number shotgun.
Complete rebuild bored chamber for 2 3/4 shells using all original parts. With 1917 Win. stamped bayonet. Full choke. Work by "Bull Creek Arms" out of Post Falls Idaho. 7 to 8 month wait for one came with bayo. Great people do good work. $1,444.00 shipped. ADD: Not considered a WW! trench gun let me get the video with a man explaing what to look for. Rather long but gives a lot of knowledge on the weapon in detail. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oROttbSkayU&t=4089s ADD: If you have time to kill this is a long video teaching everything to look for in an 'expensive' actual WWI trench gun like has. One just sold at auction for just under $7,000.

Got my 1897 about 3 years ago at a gun show. No finish on it. Owner tried to clean some lite surface rust off using 000 steel wool. Ended up taking the remaining bluing (patina) off, so he did it to the whole shotgun. Got it for $250

Bull Creek Arms 4527 E. 16th Ave. Post Falls Idaho 83854 #208-6605135 Tom will answer real nice guy. O.K. what happened was I had an old beater 1897 I sent for restoration. He flat out said it was to far gone to restore so I said keep the dang thing. Now a restored 1897 from them is a 7 to 8 month wait and runs around $1,300. Tom said thank yah to much guess who is next on the list for a Win? I got this one $1,444.00 with original bayo Win 1917. Looks factory brand new complete tear down blued and chamber reamed for 2 3/4 shells. Now has one with the WWI correct military markings he said and hell their going for over $6,000 in decent shape at Rock River auction. So I am happy at this price for a 1909. Around $800 for yours complete go through rebuild reamed and only a 3 week turn around on rebuilds. Give em a call if yah like. |

I probably will buddy.
Tossed one of those Russian PLO AKs Centerfire was selling years back into the drink. Sitting on my deck with a Nam bud and it brought back some bad memories. Yup it flew. Still out their somewhere. |

A friend of ours did actually escort his daughter down the aisle with a shotgun cradled in
his arms. He has the wedding photos to prove it. Had to have the minister's approval ahead of time, I guess.
