Florida guys: Are we ready for another hurricane?
Looks like this one (Michael) is taking aim on the panhandle near Tallahassee. Current track shows if passing right over where I live. Luckily it'll be nothing but a windy day with rain by the time I get it.
I hope...

I'll pick up a few gallons for the generator. Probably won't need it but it will save a few cents when they gouge the prices next week.

Just gassed up & tested the genny, made sure any surplus water can flow freely away from the house, ammo loaded in case of chimp out, car & truck gassed up, picked up $48.26 worth of snackies (candy, cookies, cupcakes, etc) so in case I die I'll have a full belly of stuff I like.
Let 'er rip. |

Don't forget the beer guys. Beer not food or water is the biggest selling item at Wally World when a storm is coming.
"Strawberry Pop-Tarts increase in sales, like seven times their normal sales rate, ahead of a hurricane. And the pre-hurricane top-selling item was beer," Linda M. Dillman, former chief information officer for Walmart, told the Times. https://www.countryliving.com/food-d...ore-hurricane/ Wally World tractor trailers are headed our way loaded with strawberry pop tarts and beer. We Americans are frigging nuts.

Looks like those folks in Georgia and the Carolinas are going to be in for some more flooding, too.

Thanks to the hurricane we are having some unseasonably hot and humid weather

I heard on the radio this morning that Judge Kavanaugh plans to cancel health care for women and children. And minorities.

Once again...it's GW Bush's....weather control machine in the whitehouse basement...where Trump and the arch villain ...Kavanaugh...are controlling the weather and causing earthquakes to kill niqqrz and lesbians.

Hunker down there 4th. I know you've seen worse Sir.
As for the beer I think you're already prepared. So lock and load and watch out for the usual suspects. |

Yeah, I know.
Not so very long ago I used to bathe in the stuff when I wasn't drinking it. It wasn't uncommon to get home by 0400, catch an hours sleep and pick up a six on the way to work to help calm my nerves. Those days are behind me now. Many fond memories. Alright, a few memories. Well shit. I can't recall anything between 1977 and 1985. |

Dammit! Got plenty of beer gas and ammo. Who knew about strawberry pop tarts? I prefer the cinnamon ones!
