Our friend Gloria is in need of prayer

Gloria has already had one kidney transplant that failed and is waiting for that one to be replaced. But another illness has struck her badly, already resulting in the loss of both her feet and is in grave danger of having her hands amputated as well.

In spite of all this, she has been able to smile when friends and family visit. She is a remarkable young woman who has the strongest, most loving husband constantly at her side, or at most, very close by.

Both have an unfailing love for Jesus, their church, and their family.

Prayers for comfort and peace for Gloria and Jay please.

Please continue to include Gloria in your prayers for the stricken.

We have just heard she is about to lose all eight fingers.
She's an amazing lady...in spite of all this she can still smile (and,
of course cry) and still praises God for the good things she has
experienced in her 30+ years.

The following is an update from our church bulletin:

Pray that the Lord will sustain both Gloria and Jay while they wait for a kidney
transplant and through the pain Gloria experiences in her hands. (UPDATE 4/13/22): Gloria has received
prosthetics for her legs and is going through the process of having them adjusted. The kidney transplant
surgery is on hold and pending clearance of heart issues. Gloria had surgery last weekend to have her
hands amputated. The surgery went well and Gloria is currently in the hospital recovering. Pray for
Gloria’s complete healing from this surgery and that the Lord will sustain her through any pain and
difficulty. Continue to pray that both Gloria and Jay will sense the Lord’s presence with them and be
encouraged, comforted, and strengthened through our prayers.
