Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Idaho Commission Nixes Rule to Require Hunters to Carry Bear Spray: Why it was a Bad Idea

Quote:
When various far-left ecology and animal rights groups such as the Sierra Club, the Humane Society of the United States, the Center for Biological Diversity, submitted a petition, calling for the manditory carry of bear spray by hunters, it made national news. The petition was submitted to the Idaho Fish and Game Commission and others. The petition claimed that "Studies show that bear spray is far more effective than firearms."

That claim is not correct.

The petition was written about in several Idaho outlets, and nationally.

The Commission turned down the request that the carry of bear spray by hunters be mandatory. From lmtribune.com:

Bear spray should not be mandated for people who are already carrying a gun to hunt big game. The idea that bear spray is more effective than firearms in stopping bear attacks is not proven. It is junk science.
Bear spray should be used on liberals

Gun or bear spray either way you best be damn quick on your choice. I am not a hunter or bear expert by any means but I interact with them a few times a week here.
Are they fast?

Fact: bears can run more than 60 kilometers an hour, and they can do it up hills, down hills or along a slope. To put that in perspective, that's 15 m/sec or 50 ft/sec – more than twice as fast as we can run. In fact, a bear can outrun a racehorse over short distances but has little endurance.

I go out and chase them from the trash and they kind of waddle off and laugh at me. But the dog will get them to moving like fast. 50 feet is 16.66 yards.
Now one second? Sheet. I challenge anyone to draw a pistol or start spraying if that bear is that close to you. Your frigging toast.

Just to reduce the occurrence of bears

charging hunters...we should feed liberals

to them...then they would be laying

around letting their meals digest, and

they wouldn’t pose such a threat...
