new scope
tossed the piece of shit Simmons red dot that couldn't get on paper at 25 yards and bolted on a Nikon P223 BDC scope.
although only at 50 yards i'm pleased with the results. might go out to Mike's place tomorrow and dial it in at 200. nice optic and the Nikon P series mounts are as well. being a carry handle carbine i'll be happy with a tight group at 200. not bad for a five beer dial in with junk ammo... next up is a trigger job since i can hear the creep and it feels like a suck assed set trigger. |

Great scopes for the money. I have a ProStaff 3-9x40BDC($170) on my Crosman 2400KT CO2 carbine, and there ProStaff Rimfire 3-9x40BDC($120) on my .22 Benjamin Discovery. Bought both at DICKS sporting goods. I read that Nikon makes there lens from Vietnam sand. Sapposed to be the best sand for making clear glass.

I'm seriously thinking about the Nikon P223 BDC for one of the flattops and a Bushnell Super Banner 3.5-10 X 36mm for another flattop dedicated in 22lr. Prices are great on both. Any concerns out there? Thanks.
