Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default A moose charged a 3-year-old in an Anchorage park. His father shot and killed it.

No relation, that I know of.

Quote:

Matthew Sanders and his 3-year-old son, Huxley, were walking on a narrow trail on the edge of Anchorage’s Kincaid Park on Thursday when the boy turned a corner and ran into two moose in tall grass.

It was the kind of heart-pounding moment encountered by many hikers and cyclists in one of Anchorage’s biggest, most-used patches of wild land.

But things turned quickly. Sanders yelled. The boy froze. The cow moose charged.

The Anchorage father says he was able to get between his son and the moose and pull a .44 Magnum from a chest holster. By then the moose was so close “all I could see was its nostrils and hairs,” Sanders later recounted in a Facebook post.

Its good the dad took the little guy back in the woods to show him that everything is alright.
I guess moose are bad to the bone if yah piss em off. We had a big young one show up at a buddies farm in south Vermont and I stopped by to see him. Bud said just stay still and the moose just walked up and sniffed at me.
He gave it a carrot or something and it followed us around like a pet dog. It must have been raised around people? It stayed for the summer and headed north in the fall.

And the gun grabbers would rather

the child be dead than his father

be able to protect him...

You are more likely to be trampled by a moose up here then have a bad bear encounter.

I saw a moose in Southern Colorado in the Animas River, last weekend. My wife wanted to get out so she could take a better picture. I told her to stay in the truck in case the moose decided he didn't want his picture taken.

OMG, a gun. Sounds like hunting out of season, get him boys.

Besides, everybody knows moose are super friendly. I've watched Rocky and Bullwinkle a thousand times.

The only thing you can bank on with wild animals is that they are unpredictable. I'm glad the dad was prepared.

Question

They’re kinda like North America’s answer to hippos aren’t they? The animal no expects to mess them up and has one of the highest body counts?

More people die or are injured by moose than bears

I'd steer clear of any animal that outweighs me by 800+ pounds. That's why I avoid Rosie O'donnell at all costs.
