I have a Duromax 8KW it wont run my 5 ton AC but runs my fridges and coffee pot, nice Honda engine, lights and ceiling fans will run all night.

With ammo you might be able to get food, water, other things you need. Comes with a risk however given you'll have competition with like minded people.

However, If U've had the forsitlight to fit your equipment with the proper oil filter only U & the deceases will likely know; amazon was selling the adapters for about $7 and U only need to drill one hole 'in the filter' and oversized is just fine. There are certainly more expensive options.

(The fact remains that we will soon enough C cannibalism).

I know someone who did that with a .308 and it blew the filter apart and scattered shrapnel. I think it worked pretty good on the .300AAC from what I heard.
