Just the other day, I was speaking to a buddy. Out of nowhere he used the Army term "BFE" which stands for "Bum Fuck Egypt". I hadn't heard that in years. It was like bumping into an old friend. Here are a few others:

Air Force Gloves = A soldier standing with his hands in his pockets

I remember seeing this play out at basic training. The drill sergeant was screaming at some kid. "Take off those Air Force Gloves!" This kid was completely confused. The interaction went on for quite some time. Very funny!

Sniper Check = Some soldiers would say this to an officer when saluting. A humorous comment at the right place, at the right time with the right officer.
