Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Isn't is Flopshot's brother selling used gun parts? Maybe he's worth a try.

I think this is their fb page. https://www.facebook.com/hogislandgunparts/

Well Ruger is sending me the parts at no charge, except they messed up my address on the shipping label, so I shot them another email. I need to do a lot of work on that gun yet, I need to take it completely apart, clean it, polish it, I need to grind and file the top of the barrel, it had those cooling fins which totally corroded, so I'll bring it back to a regular barrel. I have no idea how it's attached to the barrel, it's a different material and separate from the sights.

No need to grind anything, that appendix on top of the barrel came off when I tapped on it, just polishing and cleaning, then blueing the whole gun. It's not as bad as it once looked. Too bad I'm doing it as a favor and not to keep it.

Got a late 70’s super black hawk in 357 I inherited but haven’t ever shot, my old man got a real old one from I think late 60’s that’s a 44 mag and I’ve never shot that one too.

Well then get after it! Otherwise they will wind up looking like Aviator's project gun if you neglect them.

Dammit, the trigger pin pulled a disappearing act on me, While tapping it back in, it jumped, hit me in the stomach and is nowhere to be found. I moved everything in that room, laid on the floor with a flashlight, checked inside the garbage can, a gun cleaning bag that was open, even inside my shoes, moved the bench, my ammo cabinet, the beach chairs, even turned them upside down and shook them....nothing.
