Probably not your average drone. The range traveled was exceptional without loss of control and signal. It would appear several flights were strung together fr the video.

Two batteries were used. The first failed upon landing when he brought it back.

Throughout the book I finished recently, the main character always refers to the Alps as "the cathedrals of God". I can see why he would say that.
