Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default The dogs

The dogs hurt themselves just before the big snowstorm. They were chasing a rabbit or feral cat at night, along the fence and both of them hit a tree well and tweaked their hind leg.

Well, they weren't getting better, so we took them to the vet. Vet diagnosed both of them has having blown out their knee. If they don't get better, they can do a knee replacement for $2,000.

Dogs are 5 and 2 yrs. old. The younger one is slowly getting better. Hopefully the older one will start to show some progress. They are both on special weight loss diets and are not allowed to play or run. That is very difficult for two high energy dogs -- the Australian cattle dog and a catahoula/lab mix.

I'm going to put them on some liquid horse supplements ( a liquid blend of glucosomine, MSM, hyluronic acid, and condroitin) and see how they do. They are getting Absorbine liniment rubbed in twice a day to provide a little relief.

Both dogs came from rescue organizations.

The Australian Cattle Dog was spayed when she was only 6 weeks old by the place we got her from. Our vet was furious about that, because it did not give the dog time to develop normally. Her bones are longer than normal and more frail - she is 3 inches taller than what is normal for her breed. She never developed nipples. She is more susceptible to cancer and lung diseases. Those are just some of the problems that not allowing a dog to develop normally can cause. It's really a shame because she is the sweetest dog. I'm afraid she won't have a very long lifespan, and will break my wife's heart.

Contrast that with the other dog, who we had spayed at 6 months, and developed normally.

Dog

Awh hell those pups will be just fine without no knee surgery. Hell animals in the wild hurt themselves all the damn time and nature heals them.
Make them pooches take it easy for awhile and you will see. They will be fine.
