Don't ruin Thanksgiving, follow these turkey thawing tips
Refrigerator thawing "
"The USDA recommends thawing your turkey in the refrigerator. This is the safest method because the turkey will thaw at a consistent, safe temperature. This method takes some time, so allow one day for each 4 - 5 pounds of weight. If your turkey weighs 16 pounds, it will take about four days to thaw. Once thawed, the turkey is safe for another two days, so you can start thawing it six days before thanksgiving (the Friday before Thanksgiving)." http://www.wcvb.com/article/dont-rui...g-tips/8307335 Get that turkey in the fridge today to begin thawing safely. Then again if your having family and friends over you really can't stomach hell just leave it on the counter till thawed. They will remember that wonderful thanksgiving for the rest of their lives and never come back.

I have come to dislike the flavor of Turkey.
A couple Christmas' ago I ate some turkey salami/balogna/sausage what ever the hell it was. Cleaned me out from both directions. Now when I even smell turkey that taste/odor comes back. |
