30 round AR mags...
Picked up four 30 round mags from a local fun shop yesterday. I wanted to buy more but, he said most of his suppliers are limiting quantities that he can order. He said he can only order 20 at a time for now.
I've been kinda slacking in the procurement of magazines lately. I have some USGI mags and some Magpul Gen M2 MOE mags. I'd never heard of this brand before and got a decent deal on them. $14 each, cash. I don't know what the fun shop paid for them, but I paid less than they sell them for online. https://hexmagstore.com/hexmag-serie...ound-capacity/ |

CDNN has a good deal on Safariland 30rd metal G.I. mag couplers $4.99 They're nice! These used to go for more than $20 a piece. Just do a search on their website.
AR15 MAGAZINE CLAMP SAFARILAND These DO NOT fit MAGPUL mags. Only metal USGI type mags. Here's a good video showing their usefulness in different shooting positions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6QGKc6-P6I The video shows the MAPUL version, but it's same, same for USGI metal mags. Rock 'em if you got 'em.

I'm heavy on AR mags & P-Mag drums. A SureFire 50 rounder is nice, but heavy when loaded. Personally I'm not a fan of couplers.

Bingo Brian.
We beat those $9.99 AR aluminum mags to be Jesus in the military. Dropped em out of choppers, walked on em slept on em threw em at at each others heads when we got pissed off. Never ever a problem. Hell during Nam they even made them around the corner from me in my home beach town in Conn. I did not find out till years later.
