i have a Romanian TTC which is my favorite rock busting pistol. from a good sitting or kneeing position it makes long shots on rocks in the pit easy pickings. quite surprising how accurate it is at long range.

I started the x25 shooting when it was 8 cents a round...bulgarian stuff....
classic arms cz-52s.... and some other pickups...but switched to toks after researching about the hot ammo issues lol...I've had more issues with the pps-43 than any other gun that shoots the x25........that's why there's an 870 fcg in the pic... |

By the way, what is the meanest round I can safely shoot in the M57? Thought I read somewhere that there was one variety of Tokarev pistol that can handle the subgun's round loaded to a much higher pressure? |

angry, I dont think you could find any hot ammo anymore...but avoid Czech unless you research the headstamps to avoid any red flag ammo.
Horse, I was thinking harder about adding another shroud from a cut up kit to the ant-eater.... |

Bounce;
Have you ever seen any of the semi PPsH-41 clones with the extended shroud, or the Finnish KPs with the extended shroud? Just my opinion, but I think they look ridiculous. Personally, I think you would be better off getting the tax stamp, and cutting off the excess barrel, then re-crown the muzzle end. |

My PPS43 has the folding stock welded in the folded position and was sold as a pistol. I like it just the way it is. It too however, is far from problem prone. Fun, but not reliable.
Got my Yugo M57 off gunbroker for about $179 if I recall. Might have been the same seller. Not pristine, but a not too badly worn either.

I'm also a big Tok fan. I got my Yugo from SOG awhile back. I fucking love it. Now I wish I had more ammo than I do though...
I picked up a Norinco 213 Tok, the 9mm ones. I can't find mags for them at all. You either have to get modified ones or you shim the inside of the grip which is probably what I'll do because I tried to weld shims onto the 9mm mags and the welds penetrate into the mag and jam the spring. I tried to file it down but can't get it perfect enough to free the spring entirely. Anyone else got one? I'm thinking of selling it if I can and getting the other Zastava 9mm Tok. Fuck yea. |
