A few very rich folks Bears. In gated communities. If you show up in a vehicle over a year old the police pull you out of it and give you a damn good beating.

There is a lot of new development in sky rise apartments and offices, all very expensive. It's Downtown Miami, an area that used to be high crime until just a few years ago, developers bought all the old places where the scum used to habitat and cleaned it up. Now it's Miami Dade College, All the major banks are there, a lot of international business, Bayside Shopping Center, the American Airline Arena, a lot of fancy restaurants, museums, art galleries, the Performing Arts Center, major hotels chains etc.. That area of Miami has changed for the better in 20 years

And of course, the Port of Miami where every major cruise ship docks and a lot of merchandise ships in-out of the country every day. Those tall buildings at the end is part of Miami Beach.

Can you tell how much the sea level has risen there in the last 10 years? According to Algore it should all be under water pretty soon.

The rate of subsidence in Florida, due to the dissolution of it's limestone base..... is a State secret.
