Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Eotech Class Action suit?

Heard that legal action resulting from change of "zero" after temperature fluctuations.... Anyone else heard anything?

A buddy of mine sent all 3 that he had back for full blown retail refund! IIRC the Danish military are the ones who found the flaw.

Interesting. Doubt it would be an issue for mine considering, but a Meprolight sounds nice...

He was talking about what he was upgrading to for the 3 optics he no longer had. So far he bought an Elcan 145c that he found a great price one. Told me his gunsmith buddy will get us ACOG @ cost. I'm planning on a 6X48 ACOG for my new Colt IAR upper. He was planning on one but the Elcan is going were he planned putting it!

That is correct: http://www.eotechlawsuit.com/ and http://www.eotechlawsuit.com/request-information/

The US Government sued them as well. Eotech gave the US Govt $25.6 Million to settle the lawsuit.

Eotech has now admitted that EVERY HOLOSIGHT THEY EVER MADE had design defects. Therefore they will refund the purchase price of any and all Eotech Holosights if you fill out an RMA form and email it to them. Just fill in the model and serial number of your sight and tell the what you paid and you get a refund. No receipt needed.

I sent 3 in for a refund. They emailed that they received the sights and they are getting my check ready. They will probably hold it for 90 days to earn interest on the money. I will turn 3 eotechs into 2 Aimpoint M3S.

"Unfortunately, consumers may not have to sign a single thing telling them they are giving up their rights in order to potentially lose their rights. All they have to do is accept the EOTech “payoff”. Know your rights and carefully consider what are giving up before returning your optic to EOTech. If you want more information about this case, contact us."

Appears you may be eligible for up to $10,000 but as soon as you mail in the sites for a refund you give up those rights??

I don't know Steve in talking to the Kernel over on Gunco who is a pretty sharp guy. He probably stated correctly with class action lawsuits you might not even get the cost of shipping back on the deal?
Last class suit that I did not even sign up for on a credit card rip off I think I got .70 cents and it took 3 years.

I figure my Eotechs were worth nothing to me because the POI shifts and they drain their own batteries even when off.

I could sell them on ebay for half what I paid.

Or I can risk it all by sending them back to Eotech hoping for a refund of what I paid. I took the risk.

Eotech has received the sights.

To date I have not received a check for $1585.

That's a raw deal, they should at least cut the refund checks promptly.

Any guesses on how many Eotech's have been sold just to the civilian market since they rolled out?

Y'all need to realize the scope of the problem. My buddy sent his off very early & got his check quick. Now after the words been out & those slow to act are stuck with all the other who didn't act quicker on it.

As soon as my pay rate increases with my new job, I'm going with Meprolight. What a dirty company Eotech is. Hope they lose their ass. No way they can fix their reputation now.
