Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

These are police turn in and the price seems good? They were probably used at the range well cared for and only shot one or two bad guys?

I think I'd rather have a Glock .40

Carried a lot, shot a little.

Good deal on the SIGs.

I never owned one but they did not skimp on their production line. $$

I've had a lot of expenses with the Alaska trip coming up and sales are slow at the moment so I'm holding back but after looking at the XD-e I may settle for a Sig. I'm looking for a medium sized carry item. I have a couple but I just want something more reliable and powerful. Last time I was at the range they had a Sig in .45 that was a beauty for about $700, perfect size.

You don't want a Sig DAO unless you plan on buying parts and converting it. The DAK isn't much better.

If I bought either one of them I would convert them to DA/SA.

You would need the following:

Hammer
Hammer Strut Pin
Decocking Lever
Decocking Lever Spring
Decocking Lever Bearing

You would also have to cut a notch in the grip for the parts change.

I have converted SIGs a couple of times. Last set of parts I bought were about $175 20 years ago. I'm guessing the parts now would cost $200 or more.

I noticed on eBay someone was selling a used DAK to DA/Sa kit for $160. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Sig-Sauer-P...EAAOSwMutc~BJh
