Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default What's your "sweetest" handgun to shoot?

I have quite a few but the one I truly love has to be my S&W 14-1 Target Masterpiece in .38. It's a shame it doesn't get much use as it should but those 6 inches and sweet trigger system makes it a shooter's dream. I can hit a dime at 50 feet (or used to anyhow, before my cataract surgery)

What's yours?

Of course, that was pretty stupid of me to ask. I must concur, guns are bad.

That's kind of like trying to choose a favorite child.

I really enjoy my Model 29, with .44 Specials - loaded a little on the hot side. But when I load up my Ruger Super Blackhawk with the 7.5" bbl with my Keith loads, it certainly puts a smile on my face - especially when banging a steel target at 200 yards or more.

Another one that I find to be really sweet is my GP100 with .357 mag loads. It is just really comfortable to shoot, and accurate.

They all put a smile on my face when I pull the trigger, but the one pistol that always gets shot when I go out shooting is the Springfield 1911A1. So far, it is the only one I can break clays in the air with.

The .22's are in a different class. Right now, the funnest .22 for me is the Ruger SR22. That little pistol is just a hoot.

I don't have a .22 anymore, I had a High Standard which I enjoyed shooting , but there are no more open places to go shooting at down here, everything has been developed from the beach west to the Everglades and they keep pushing the boundary west every few years, I miss the old days, you could go shoot just about anywhere west of the airport, now only indoor ranges or the county range which I don't like.

I miss being able to step outside in my underwear to test out a new load, shooting off the back porch.

Progress sucks.

Old Model Ruger Blackhawk .357 that I inherited from Uncle Bob, CZ-82, and my 1st Generation Ruger 22/45.
My 1911's aren't "sweet", they're here in case all Hell breaks loose.

S&W Model 15-3 4". Balls on accurate and has a fantastic trigger in both double and single action. It's been around the block with lots of wear on it, but it sure as hell is a sweet shooter.

I can't decide which is the sweetest shooting. So I'll say it's a tossup between three pistols I own:

Ruger, bull barrel target model MKII with UltraDot target red dot. I replaced the innards with Volquartsen pistol competition set.
It has a 2.25 trigger pull.

Model 27-2 S&W .357 Magnum. It came with a presentation wood box and cleaning brush.
I haven't altered this beautiful firearm. It's perfect as is.

S&W Target M&P. It is topped with a Trijicon RMR Adjustable LED target sight. I replaced the original
barrel with an Apex Target grade barrel. I removed the existing trigger assembly and installed an Apex
flat face trigger set. I also replaced the original springs with target springs and it now has 1.5 lb trigger pull.
