Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Down to a broken plywood canoe.
Bottom seperated.
I don't think it would sink unless I was sitting in it though.
I think I'll stick to bank fishing.

Your the only smart one here. Hell all us other guys spend thousands on our boats. Then just cast toward shore anyway.

Dang Wc, they've really got you messed up w/those different hp rules and regs. You would almost need 2 diff boats, one for the regulated areas and one for Lake Erie. That stinks!

I fish on the lakes here but I use a fishing raft with oars if that counts.
Heck its got room in it for 2-3 people and has fishing pole holders.I could put an engine on it if I wanted to but it serves me well as is.

Need to find some sort of anchor for it though, when the winds kick up I drift around away from my fishing spots and have to row back.

I have a friend who has a friend who's cousin ran into this problem one time. Two motors nah! Look on the side of any outboard and tell me what ya see? That's right, a horsepower sticker. 20hp why hell no officer, look at the sticker, says 10hp right there.
Now let common sense dictate here. If they have speed restrictions cause kids are swimming in the area. Or the conditions are dangerous. Well. You get the picture. But what I have found in most cases like this is some politician or Pres. Booshits friend don't want us poor folk on the darn lake to start with. Therefor the H.P. don't make too much noise B.S..
Electric only. Get yourself a good trolling motor. With little gas engines like your talking. It only takes a minute to pop that little engine off.
One boat does it all.
