M16A2/AR15A2 Stocks
Been looking for one for a while. The ones I find are either cheap chinese plastic knockoffs or $80+.
CDNN has some made by Mossberg on sale for $50 and shipping. Includes stock, buffer tube, spring, buffer, sling attachment point, and buttplate and mounting screws. I got a Shipped notice not even 15 minutes after I ordered it, and a Fedex tracking number as well. Been wanting an A2 stock for my 350 Legend build which may also double as an AR15A2 build - especially since 350 Legend disappeared from the shelves before I could stock up enough to make it a viable caliber for my uses. At least I got a box of hunting ammo for it and 100 rounds of FMJ practice ammo. The 20 round mags also got hard to come by, but it looks like they are slowly trickling back into the market. Only one outfit makes a good 20 round mag for it. I like to have, at the very least, 10 mags per firearm that uses mags.

It looks to me, about the only difference between the A1 & A2 stocks is, the A2 is a shade longer. Is that correct?
Or is the buffer and spring a little longer also? |

I just know they listed it as an A2 stock. |

It arrived yesterday, and looks more like an A1 stock than an A2 stock. If you are building an A1 clone, this stock would work.
The stock itself is solid and well made. It will feel good once I get it mounted on my last stripped receiver. I may sell my 350 Legend upper and try and find an A1 or A3 upper with a 20" barrel. They are out there. Just have to spend some time looking. |
