Bears, i measured it by volume......all i could get into the .45 Colt case was 38 grains by volume.

Very fun to make the smoke and feel the recoil.

I was over estimating the case volume.

Compressing Black Powder is an iffy operation though.
Obviously not as bad as it could have been, you're doing it right.
