I disassembled my new S&W pistol
Now I'm waiting for the mailman to deliver the aftermarket parts to improve the trigger pull. I want to smooth out the pull and drop it down to around 3 lbs.

I'm waiting on parts from Brownell's to get rid of the goofy firing pin safety stuff in two of my 1911's. Also changing to arched hammer spring housings. Should be here tomorrow.

There was one part missing from the small parts kit and I don't want to reassemble my gun without it. So I contacted the company and they are going to mail me that part. Probably won't get it until Monday.
Oh well, I don't plan on going shooting right away anyway. |

Somehow a 1911 seems much easier to take apart/put back together...LOL

Too many small parts and I like simple things. KISS is one of my favorite acronyms.

Is that the only part needed to turn a series 80 into a series 70?

Pogo, How do you like your M&P shield ? What brand trig parts are you getting?
I was just at the gun shop looking at a 40cal S/W shield along with a glock and several others... CZ, kahr etc I liked the feel and thinness of the S&W, might get one. Im going to go handle them again after thinking about it
