Crusty project truck
Had some slightly less shitty bed sides that I installed, I'd like to get it somewhat presentable. Plan is to get the drivetrain, and suspension in order, then eventually blow it apart, paint the frame, and everything nice, and body swap it. The current cab, really isn't so bad. I just want a nicer starting point, will be money ahead that way. Current drivetrain is a TBI 350, th350, np203, full floating 14 bolt, and dana 44 front. Will be getting a 4 speed swap this winter, and hopefully next year a 454. Will also be getting a small 2-3" lift, and some 285-75-16 tires to make a little better use of the 4.10s.
I eventually want to pull tractors to shows, and pulls with it. If nothing else it's a good distraction for the time being. It's been waiting on me since 2009, and now life has me in a spot to finally start on it again. |

1979. Was a farm truck, from a local grain elevator going way back. From what I was told it never really left the area, until I brought it out to where I'm living now.
