Eat your hearts out, guys...
...Kim's just baking a batch of her best-in-the-world
oatmeal-raisin cookies. Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, loaded with raisins and chopped and roasted almonds, cashews and pistachios. Mmm...mmmm!!! As Graham Elliott would say (and does say in the infomercial) 'out of control flavor'. Best of all...I get to munch on 'em.

You're a lucky man. I love oatmeal raisin cookies.

That recipe has been around longer than I have.
Everyone and every bakery had their own version. I used to frequent a bakery that served large cookies for a nickel. Dang they were good, guaranteed you would go back for more. |
