I am late to hear this very sad news. I never got to meet him; but I'm sure he and I would have gotten along famously. My prayers are with you and your family over this very tragic loss!!!!

Unfortunately, I was not able to make it to the viewing. We are among our busy season and I just could not get away from work.

My sincerest condolences to the family. I want to thank aviator for letting the folks at gunco know about Jim's passing. Even though it has been a while, there are still many there who respected Jim for his service and his no BS attitude. He was a long time contributor to the forums and will be sorely missed. prayers sent. |

I don't know how I missed this thread. It is so shocking. He was a friend. We would occasionally kid each other, mostly about him still living in Maryland and my leaving. I feel that a great big hole has opened up in my life.
Well you can bet on one thing. He's not suffering any more. No more aches or pangs of pain. Rest well Jim, you have sure earned it.
