Mom & Pop Shop Bakery Score
On one of the downsides of my job is that I never know where I'm going to be at. One of the perks of my job, is that I never know where I'm going to be at.
Today I stumbled across a Bakery/Sandwich Shop for lunch. They use real meat for their sandwiches. While I was there, I seen a turkey breast, beef roast and a ham all going on the rotisserie. Someone asked if those were good going to be today's special. And the lady answered, "No, to those will be tomorrow's sandwiches." I got a turkey sandwich topped with leaf lettuce, horvatta cheese and made from scratch ranch dressing. Served with chips, drink, a pickle spear all for $8.99. Better than any Better Mac. Not to mention the fresh pastries coming out of the oven before your very eyes. I love Mom and Pop shops.

Not mass produced in a warehouse somewhere and shipped to the store. Always Fresh.

Used to love those little shops. Especially the local bakeries.
