Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

I could really use some of that Arizona weather right now.
Shortest day barely got above freezing this afternoon.
Even lower temps are in the forecast.

14 miles on a sand trail is a good workout. I've done a lot father than that on paved trails but that's a lot easier than sand.

Keep doing that buzz and you are going to have some big calves.

Did another bike ride today......Rode out a little farther this time.....It was a nice sunny day about 60 degrees....I took some videos but im having a hard time downloading them to tinypic from my phone.....this time i brought a different pistol and 200 rounds to do some serious shooting but targets were in short supply.......Those 350$$ Italian colt clones are very much fun for very little money......the only problem with this one is the jackass who owned it before me cut the front sight down and the gun shoot about 14" high.

Rugged , beautiful and unforgiving terrain.
14 miles is a good roll
Nice looking heater and I like that holster a lot.
Well done.

Saw what i thought was a rock turned out to be a old fuel can......probably left there by shooters in the 1960's or before.

I shot about 200 rounds and i really like the 7 1/2" barrel better than the others.........my 5 1/2" SAA clone shoots 14" high....do any of you expert handloaders know of how i can remedy this?.....lighter bullet?, lighter powder charge??........besides welding building the front sight up.

I would probably take my pistol to a machinist and have him make me a new sight. You could probably do it yourself with a piece of metal and a file. Then cut off the old one and silver solder on the new one. Re-blue it and you have it exactly like it came from the factory.

Pogo, i was thinking about tig welding on a extension piece but then i was concerned that the silver solder would just bust loose from the heat of the tig.....im a bit more reluctant to try DIY gunsmithing on something other than a military style firearm....because these are polished and blued and i cant just repark it if i screw up the finish or air brush some flat black gun kote on it like an AR or AK

Maybe i will just buy another 7 1/2" barrel for it and have a smith install it and be done.

Build a Teepee cap and just super glue it over the existing sight.
I've used Locktite GO2 for stuff like that.
