The Times would never do anything to help Trump. I would not doubt the coup attempt, but this is an effort to bait Trump into firing people before a midterm election with the MSM ready to assault him the moment he fires anyone.

Where there is talk there us often/usually action; I suspect that Rosenstein has already worn a wire and recorded within the security sanctity of our White House...and that there are most likely transcripts of those recordings.
