Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Quote:
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Orson Bean, the witty actor and comedian, was hit and killed by a car in Los Angeles, authorities said. He was 91.

The Los Angeles County coroner’s office confirmed Bean’s Friday night death, saying it was being investigated as a “traffic-related” fatality. The coroner’s office provided the location where Bean was found, which matched reports from local news outlets.
Another great gone.

Can't say I recognize the name.

But if he was 'witty and funny' then he couldn't have been all bad.

RIP.

I remember that episode. He played the happy go lucky young man who couldn't keep a job... had a kid's mentality.

That episode is usually in the TZ marathons on the channels that do them. The Donald Pleasance episode about the professor forced into retirement, the tank crew that ended up in 1876 just before the battle of Little Big Horn, Talky Tina and the animated dolls in the bucket episode (soldier, bagpiper, ballerina and bagpiper) are almost always in the marathons as well.

Rush Limbaugh recalled a story from several decades ago when Breitbart was a libturd and chastised Bean for having a Rush Limbaugh book (The way things ought to be) on his book shelf. Bean handed him the book despite his comments and asked him to just take it home and read it. Breitbart took it home...read it and turned his political ideology around 180 degrees.

Cool story.

Rush talked about Orson Bean at great length yesterday on his show and revealed that he was quite the old school conservative.
