Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Boat update #3

Yesterday, helped getting the all the through hull fitting bedded and back in, all the various hose attached. The next thing is getting the depth sounder and everything associated with installed. Having some trouble getting a 3 3/4 hole saw to cut the hole for the transducer. It's a big sucker. Going to take a lot 3M "5200-Series" sealant, according to the directions supplies with transducer. Hole saw coming from Gainers', due in next Wednesday. Hopefully my brother well get pics downloaded and set to me soon.

Had a brain fart yesterday, put my camera on the counter, then just before a I left, had a call from my daughter. Yup, left with the camera still setting on the counter

Mount the transducer as far away from the prop as you can plalz...
I have a very inexpensive one, works fine for all I need.
My Bros is high end..
Mounted too close too the prop, cavitation shuts it down at the slightest speed.
Soon as he hits the throttle it goes dead.
My cheap one keeps ticking.

Only need small screws and a good sealant too hold it in place.
Most all are spring loaded.
Adjust too hold at speed.
But if you hit something solid, the spring trips so it does not rip off.
