3 deer this last week
I was talking with my sister earlier today, she lives in Mississippi, and she said her husband bagged three deer this past week, Monday a 5 point buck, Wednesday a 7 point buck and Thursday a 9 point buck, that makes 5 for him so far this season. He hunts on his own property and his deer rifle is a Marlin lever gun chambered for .35 Remington.

I'll fire up the smoker - FedEx meat! Hickory or apple wood - your pick!

Yumm!
Folks in the east have it all right, when it comes to deer season. Out here, if you get drawn, you get one tag. If you're lucky, you may come upon a depradation hunt.

I don't hunt because I don't care for the taste of Bambi. Lots of corn fed deer in this area. The farmers hate them.
