A squirrel teasing my dog named Joe
My mix dog is a hunter and a stalker. That squirrel doesn't realize he's playing with fire. My dog is fast. One slip-up on the squirrel's part and my dog will get it.

It would be a shame for the squirrel to get slobber all over it.

Tree rats have become a pest down here. I had never seen so many as in the last 10 years or so. They are cute as long as they don't nest around my house. So far they come from across the street to eat my palm tree fruits, which makes the resident mockingbird unhappy.

Yup Pogo Joe is built like my tenants pup Hannah. Long legs and muscular body on him they are quick dogs. You tube on guys that hired out to rid rats from businesses had ferrets, rat terriers and long legged guys like your pup. Long legs was getting the rats the ferrets chased out and made the rat terriers look like they were standing still.

Just saw one in my back yard, yesterday. Set the dog on it, but she didn't even come close.
Looks like it is after my apples and hides out in my wood pile. I'll bet the cat will get that varmint. She kills everything from snakes and lizards to gophers and fully grown cottontail rabbits. She'll usually eat what she catches, except the reptiles.

I have LOTS of Chipmunks here. They come up on back porch and moon my cats. I often hear kitty heads bouncing off the glass doors...the Munks know just how to piss the felines off.

We have a crap load of them here. Neighbor just put up one of those bird feeders that if a squirrel gets on it, it will start spinning. I have enjoyed watching it a couple times now. They start spinning pretty good and get chucked pretty far.

I have to admit that I like the little tree rats.
When I lived in Texas I had one that teased the neighbor's cat like that and he always let me know when the bird feeder got low.

I looked out the window and saw my cat all squatted down on the wood deck watching something. She pounced and nailed a squirrel. I ran out and threw something at her and the squirrel got away. Cat was pissed and wouldn’t come inside for 2 days.
