I use steel wool. Wipe off with cloth to remove any wool left behind. Never had any problem.

Thank ypu Sanders! Well, I guess I could put the tumbler in the barn for some margin of safety. The bullet itself is a Noosler style - very pointy and I am almost positive it is stainless. I might cut one through with a hacksaw, but I'll bet it is solid.

This guy I work with likes to pick up brass and he ran across one didn't recognize. I am thinking it will be easy for this crowd to tell me what it is:
FC at the top (so I am thinking federal) 2 at the nine o'clock 4 at the 3 o'clock 13 at the bottom. Size is about 30. Thanks guys. |
