Let’s skip the appetizer and get right to the meat and potatoes of a manufacturer’s claims for a new cartridge case technology to replace the 150-year reign of brass. Here’s what Shell Shock Technologies (SST) says about their two-piece, nickel-aluminum-stainless steel 9mm Luger NAS3 cases: •Stronger, cheaper and half the weight of brass. •Greater corrosion resistance. •More internal volume. •More consistent ignition. •+P velocities without +P pressures. •Cases won’t stretch, no trimming required. •Withstands 40 or more reloadings. •Picks up with a magnet. •Can be anodized different colors for instant ID.

Been there, didn't succeed before. Seems like this was tried in the '70s and '90s.
They better have proof of all their claims and be cheaper.
Will require special reloading data.

If it does work as they say the military would probably for sure pick it up. Their always looking for stronger better lighter for the troops.

I still have a package of 6 rounds of .38 Special that are plastic cased.
All plastic except for the primer, projectile and propellent.
The store gave them to me for demo purposes, never did try them.
Included in the package are instructions for reloading.

Think I'll just save them for historical reference. Had 'em for over 30 years now.
