Made a range trip today......busted out some poodle shooters and one mans rifle
It is hot as hell here so there were only 5-7 other people at the range......I just got a primary arms 1-6 ACSS scope that i wanted to try out on one of my poodle shooters.......im very impressed with its performance especially considering how cheap it is....It has a illuminated chevron reticle similar to an ACOG except its smaller and finer in size ..good for more precise shooting IMO. My M14 is a NM with a rear lug and glass bedded Mcmillan stock and a leupold mark 4 scope.....i ran about 60 rounds through it. Had some fun.

Real nice buz sounds like a great time.
Super nice couch that has to be Victorian turn of the century I would guess? Does it have the lions claw feet?

I want to grab one of those scopes as well. I have the 3x ACSS versions in 5.56 and 7.62x39 and love them both. The 5.56 version has a dot in the middle that fits perfectly inside a 2" x 2" diamond at 100 yards.

Ill be honest......some of those rifles have made 5-6 range trips and i have never cleaned them.........i really like the primary arms ACSS scope......for 289 bucks it is really a nice accurate scope..i like it better than a ACOG........after i got it zeroed i was hitting 24" triangular lead plate at 319 yards that they have at the range like it was child's play. That M14 is very heavy....it has a heavy profile NM barrel under the handguard and i shot 20 rounds through it standing ...one THAT heavy wouldn't be a good SHTF choice....thats for sure. |
