Deer lives matter?

Hunting deer with shotguns is gay.

Did somebody call for a shaman?
Hey, y'all. That's my website you linked to. I'm the proprietor of Genesis 9:2-4 Ministries. I saw a bunch of hits coming from this website and thought I'd drop in and say hello. It's funny. For the past 2 years, I've been absolutely swamped with traffic regarding the Indiana rifle regs. In truth, I haven't hunted IN since the early 90's. However, I made a post back in 2014 when I saw the IN DNR was contemplating the change. Yikes! tens of thousands of hits later, it finally came to pass. In the meanwhile, I had to put up with the vitriol from Hoosiers that thought this was going to be the onset of Armageddon. Somehow, IN hunters were all going to line up on Opening Day and there would be this big circular firing squad and . . . Taking the ministry on the road like this is something I like to do. Call it outreach. As owner of the website, I get access to stats. When I see a bunch of hits coming from one referrer, I have learned it can be fun to check it out. Usually I end up among friends. The one time it didn't work out was when a french language D-Day appreciation site posted a picture of my son, Mooseboy, holding an M1 Garand next to his deer. I thought it would be fun to get on the site and see what the Frogs were up to. At first they were interested in how we used the M1 Garand for deer hunting. However, it quickly devolved into a hatefest. At our camp, we hang our deer head-up on the meatpole, and they all saw that as highly disrespectful. It did not help any that Google Translate was mangling everything I said. When all was said and done, I blocked all IP traffic from France, I've since blocked it all from the rest of the non-English speaking world, and my life has improved greatly ever since. |

I seem to remember Kentucky allowing rifle hunting of deer back around 78 or 79. My brother was pissed because he wanted to use his mini-14 in .223/5.56. I think a few years later they changed it to any centerfire rifle.

'78 is a bit before my time, but I know by the mid-80's it was anything-goes with any centerfire cartridge .223 and up.
