Chickens Four Times Bigger Within the Last 60 Years
"In the last 60 years, chickens have quadrupled their size, but it’s not because their feed has changed, according to a new study"
"Researchers at the University of Alberta in Canada found that broiler chickens have actually become more efficient at using the feed they take in." http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014...eing-fed-more/ This is not good. If these chickens keep getting larger, farmers are going to have problems. If they escaped from farms, children and pets are going to be in extreme danger. My Buddy raised chickens and his rooster attacked him. Thank God he had his .12 gauge handy, oh hell yeah what a fight.

I don't know about bigger chickens, but those turkeys I raised last year sure got huge.

Each egg is worth three hens eggs. (unless they are extra large) The Wild Turkey I had, lived with the hens for two years. |

Several years ago, I found turkey eggs and gave them to my sister. She raised them along side the chickens. Produced some nice eggs.

I am hoping they can grow 20,000 pound cows so that I can get a decent-sized steak.

Woody Allen predicted this in 1973...
