Corn
I was playing with the panorama app on my phone.
This is actually a straight line of corn behind my house. The Panorama effect makes it look like a corner.

I have a Canon ELPH that I take out in my kayak with me. They are quite good small cameras, especially considering the price.

I just bought my wife a Canon ELPH 190 S too, they fit in your pocket and do all right, she wanted a very small camera that she could keep in her purse.

That is pretty cool Pogo.
I wonder if the tourists come by and start picking the poor farmers corn? Down here the huge groves tourists stop and start picking the oranges from the trees near the roads. My bud said the groves are so big they don't have time to bother with them and let em have at it.

I worked for a farmer for 2 summers while I was a kid. He got angry when people stole his corn. When he caught them, he would take the corn back. People seemed to think the corn was free for the taking.
And it was cattle corn - not really appealing for humans. |

Field corn is not sweet and is NOT at all good to eat. That view is how about 100 acres across the street looks. Lots of corn and soybean in fields here.

I just picked up on a 10# bag of corn flour to make cornbread. Some say use butter...some say to use lard. Some say use milk...some say use buttermilk...
What to do? Lots of recipes out there. Wish Grandmas had written down their recipes for things. |
