Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Was there a change in the Brace status?

The latest email advertisement I got from Delta Team Tactical stated pistol braces were back. I see they have them in stock.

As far as I know you still can't install them unless you're part of the ongoing lawsuit injunction rulling that allowed them for the few.

Still fighting over it, a judge in Texas overruled it but it may have to wind up in SCOTUS.

Federal Judge Blocks ATF From Arresting Millions Of Pistol Brace Owners

Millions of law-abiding gun owners who were turned into criminals overnight under the Biden administration’s new pistol brace ban have temporary relief after a federal judge in Texas issued a nationwide injunction preventing the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives from enforcing it.

The judge claimed “the Court is certainly sympathetic to ATF’s concerns over public safety in the wake of tragic mass shootings” but noted that “public safety concerns must be addressed in ways that are lawful.”
"When the judge was approached by the ATF asking permission to bring a machete along when they visited a shooting range and saw someone shooting with the brace. They requested permission to cut the shooters arm clean off right to the shoulder."
The judge immediately tossed the ban request right in the damn trash.

ATF FY 2022 By the Numbers
Budget - $1.5 billion dollars
People
Total full-time employees – 5,099
Special Agents – 2,586
Industry Operations Investigators – 816
Professional, technical, administrative staff – 1,697

If all the Special Agents and Industry Operations Investigators worked full time on one issue, and that being going door to door to confiscate 20 million pistol braces, and they were so efficient that only one employee could confiscate (4) braces per day, it would take each employee approximately (4) years to even get close to finishing that job...and all this assumes they work (7) days a week, no sick time, no vacation, and they know names, addresses, updated addresses, etc, etc.

Confiscation by them is not realistic. It's right up there with them thinking they could ban and confiscate semiautos. Not going to happen. They would be content to make everyone an instant fellon the moment they were found to have possession. That's the intimidating threat they prefer.

Washington D.C. – In a declaration dated November 2, but is just now becoming public, The ATF issued a blanket ban on all consumer smoke grenades and civilian flashbang devices.
Quote:
Regarding the recent ATF actions, in usual fashion the ATF’s declaration is extremely vague and subjective. It is unclear as to how this ban will affect maritime safety devices, which are mandated by the USCG on most classes of vessel. It is also unclear as to how this will affect consumer grade fireworks, the HVAC repair industry, or the film industry due to the vague wording on potential exemptions. The ban is probably intended for “tactical”-style devices, but due to the lack of forethought and contradictory stance characteristic of the ATF, the potentially wide-ranging effects of this ban are currently unknown.

And if everyone arrested took the ATF to court with a trial by jury? They would tie up the judicial system for a hundred frigging years.

I like where you're going with that idea, but the reality is that, just like they did with the IRS, the ATF will get it's own special judicial system for persecuting it's victims.

Excellent job of running the numbers, Sir. Your facts speak volumes. This shows just how difficult any sort of confiscation would be.

I don't own a pistol brace, don't need one and don't want one but have great concerns about the Government trying to ban them. It's a first step in eroding our 2A rights.
