After my new year's ham is gone I'll invest in a pork roast and some good German Sauerkraut from my local ALDI store.

Real fatty pork chops pan fried to generate lots of lard then add chopped onions, diced new potatoes, cannelli beans & top with kraut. Cove & let simmer. I like caraway seeds on my kraut too.
