Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default First frost last night at my place

Sept. 24, 2016 -- first frost

Tomatoes and chile plants will be done, now. I only got one ripe big tomato, but lots of little cherry tomatoes. The tomato plant with the big ones is full of green fruit. I doubt they will ripen.

I never did get much in the way of chiles this year. Flowers on the plants, still, but minimal fruit - not enough to can anything.

My most prolific plants this year were my strawberries. They love being in the tractor tire.

Man, that seems early. Or is that about normal for you, there?

Got cold down in the flatlands? Up here on the mountain it only got down to 36, but at the bottom of my road there was frost on the gate. I'm almost ready for winter, just need to cut a little more firewood.

This year the squirrels and rats are packing the pinon and acorns away a whole bunch more than last year. I'm thinking and hoping we are in for a long hard winter. A good winter always makes the weak city folk move back to where they belong.

Heh! I always say a good snowpack in the winter makes the For Sale signs grow in the spring.
